2 Shallots, minced
A splash Olive Oil
A pinch Red Pepper Flake
To Taste: Black Pepper
1/3 cup NuNature Date Syrup
1/3 cup Water
To Taste: Salt
In a sauté pan over medium-low heat, heat olive oil. Add shallots, red pepper flakes and pepper; sauté for 2 minutes. Add date syrup and water, bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Once boiling, immediately reduce heat to low and stir for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat; sauce will continue to thicken as it cools. Add salt and pepper to taste. Store up to 3 weeks in refrigerator.
