Korean Ground Beef Bulgogi

Serves 2-3, 20 min total time

Ingredients:

1 lb Grou nd beef, lean 3 Garlic  cloves
1/2 tsp Ginger, fresh
1/2 Yellow Onion
1/2 cup Soy sauce, low-sod i u m
2 oz N u Natu re Date Syru p
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 tbsp  Sesame oil

Method:

  1. fieat a natural oil in a wide nonstick skillet. Add the onions and ga rlic and saute 2-3 minutes over high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and break it apa rt using a woode n spoon. Cook the ground beef over high heat w hile stirring 3-5 minutes until cooked and slightly browned.
  3. Move the beef and onion to one side of the skillet and add the remaining ingredients to the other. Stir them well to combine, then combine with the beef and onions. Cook together for 1 minute, add a little water the water if it becomes too thick.
  4. Taste and add more red chili pepper fl akes, date syrup to taste, then stir we ll. Serve on top of w hite rice, an optional over-easy egg, ga rnish with toasted sesa meseeds and green onions.
