Banana and Date Muffins

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup NuNature Date Syrup

  • cup milk (any plan-based alternative — ok) 2 eggs
  • mashed bananas

1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Add date syrup, eggs, and milk, one by one. Mix slowly to become thick and smooth. When the batter is ready, add the mashed banana and combine well.

Spread the batter on a muffin pan and put it into the oven for 20 minutes at 340 F. Check after 15 minutes to make sure to see if it is reaching a golden brown color.

To see if it’s ready, insert a toothpick in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean, it is ready.
